创始人：戴德生

戴德生（Hudson Taylor，1832-1905年），在1865年6月25日創辦了中國內地會（即今日的OMF海外基督使團，在台灣則稱為中華基督教內地會)。在1866年，戴德生和他的妻子瑪莉亞、兒女，以及16位宣教士離開英國前往中國。他渴望將福音帶到中國內陸省份，呼籲人們禱告，並在19世紀晚期差派一批批的宣教士前往中國。
